In August 2015 Ebony won a top ten position at the World Steelpan Panorama marking 50 years of Steelpan as 9th in World out of 24 Steelbands. Plus gaining 1st in Notting Hill Panorama. Ebony Steelband Trust was awarded the Queens Award in 2005 for its 18 years of service to the community, with Augustine Leith (Pepe) Francis being awarded an MBE in June 2011.
